Tis’ the season for great coffee, and the team here at the Missing Bean are elated to see the return of our exclusive annual Christmas Blend to celebrate direct trade relationships and all things ‘yule-thai’d’!
As a business we put a lot of value on our producer/partner relationships, always carefully choosing our coffees from around the world based on unique flavours, traceability, and sustainability.
So what could be more in the spirit of Christmas and the holiday season than building upon one of our longest standing direct trade relationships with Doi Pangkhon in Thailand, while giving back by promoting a system that emphasis fairness for all, equality, and transparency.
With around eighty-percent of Thai coffees staying within the countries borders, our Thai coffees are something we take great pride in, and it’s a joy to show them off here.
For our 2018 Christmas Blend, our head roaster Barbora has selected two different processing methods of the same Thai Doi Pangkhon variatel: a fully washed process, and a black honey process. They have been chosen for their balance and complexity, while highlighting the best of each unique flavour profile.
With splendid notes of delicious hazelnut biscuit and light, crisp pear, it’s ideal for a daily cup on these merry days, as a moment of relaxation post Christmas shopping, or why not pair it with our fine selection of home brewing equipment available instore to make the perfect gift or stocking stuffer for the coffee lovers in your life.
