About the Beans:
Verapaz is a coffee from the Conan region, produced by the Fedecovera cooperative. Created in 1976, this co-op now brings together over 33,000 producing families. The co-op was born around coffee, but it has diversified over time by cultivating other agricultural products such as cardamon, cocoa, tea, pepper and turmeric. In 1996, Fedecovera began to carry out reforestation projects by creating nurseries, each year more than 4 million trees are cultivated or planted in the region. The coffee trees grow under the shade of the tropical forests (endemic and planted).
