Founded in 1988, Fazenda Vila Boa is Monica’s project, born from the farmland she inherited from her father and transformed into a committed estate dedicated to specialty coffee excellence. The name Vila Boa, meaning “pleasant town,” reflects the founding vision of the project: bringing together like-minded people around responsible and demanding production.

For this Natural lot, cherries are harvested at full ripeness, carefully sorted, then dried in the open sun on patios for 10 to 15 days. Once optimal moisture content is reached, the coffees are rested and prepared for export.

Committed to addressing growing climate challenges, Fazenda Vila Boa is now carbon neutral certified. The estate reduces and offsets its emissions through its coffee terroirs and forested areas, with 30% of the farm under protection. This approach is further strengthened by an ambitious reforestation program, with more than 1,000 trees planted.
This coffee reaches us transported by sail, significantly reducing its carbon footprint and contributing to a more ocean-friendly supply chain. A Brazilian coffee that brings together quality, environmental commitment, and a long-term sustainable vision.
