Why Missing Bean
Missing Bean has been part of Oxford's independent coffee scene since 2009, growing from a single café to seven locations with an eighth on the way. We've been roasting specialty coffee in East Oxford since 2014, and our coffee subscriptions bring that same café-quality coffee straight to your door. Every bean is carefully selected for quality and sourced with sustainability in mind – from farms that share our values on ethical growing practices and fair pay for producers. Hand roasted at our East Oxford roastery and delivered across the UK in 100% recyclable packaging.

How do our coffee subscriptions work?
Simply choose your favourite Missing Bean coffee for a regular delivery, or sign up for our rotating selection and we'll handpick something new each time. Set your bag size, grind setting and delivery frequency, then log in to your account to manage everything.
Can I pause or cancel my coffee subscription at any time?
Absolutely. You'll be sent a reminder by email before each delivery, so you can choose to fast-forward, skip or pause at any time by logging into your account – no questions asked.
How do I edit my current subscription?
Simply login to your account through our website, or follow the link on any previous e-mails.
Is there a minimum commitment period for the coffee subscription?
here's no minimum commitment! You can subscribe to our coffee service on a month-to-month basis and cancel or modify your subscription anytime from your account dashboard.
What if I have more questions or need assistance with my subscription?

Is your packaging recyclable?
All our retail bags, 250g, 500g & 1kg are fully recyclable, as well as our shipping boxes.
Are all your coffees ethically & sustainably sourced?
Yes! We either work directly with the farms and farmers to ensure this, or we only use trusted importers for farms that are trickier to reach directly.
How fresh will my coffee beans be?
We roast every single weekday, every single week, so the roast date on your beans is likely to be within two weeks of your order date.
