Do you offer a specialty coffee subscription?
Yes — every coffee in our subscription range is specialty grade. We roast five days a week at our East Oxford roastery and deliver our specialty coffee subscriptions across the UK, so wherever you are, you're never far from a great cup. If you're local, we even offer reduced-rate delivery to Oxford postcodes OX1–OX4.
Which coffees can I add to my coffee bean subscription?
You can subscribe to any coffee in our coffee bean subscription range — either choosing a favourite to receive on repeat, or signing up for our rotating selection, handpicked by our team each time. All our subscription coffees are roasted to order at our East Oxford roastery.
How do Missing Bean coffee subscriptions work?
Our coffee bean subscriptions are simple to set up. Choose your coffee and bag size, select your grind setting, and pick a delivery frequency — weekly, fortnightly, three-weekly or monthly. We'll send a reminder before each order goes out, so you're always in control. Manage everything from your online account.
Can I buy a coffee subscription as a gift?
Yes! Our gift subscription makes a brilliant present for any coffee lover. Simply choose the coffee, bag size, and delivery frequency, and we'll take care of the rest — including free delivery.
Is there a minimum commitment?
No minimum at all. Our subscriptions run on a rolling basis and you're free to cancel, pause or modify at any time from your account dashboard.
Starting your subscription
What grind options do you offer?
You can choose from whole bean or a range of grind settings to suit your brewing method. We always recommend grinding just before brewing for the freshest cup, but we're happy to grind it for you if that's more convenient.
What bag sizes are available?
We offer 250g, 500g and 1kg bags. All our subscription bags are fully recyclable, as are our shipping boxes.
Subscription deliveries
When will my coffee be dispatched?
Orders placed by 11am Monday–Friday are dispatched from the roastery the same day. Your subscription orders follow the same schedule, shipped within 24 hours of your order date.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is free on all subscription orders of £33 or over, or on orders of 1–2kg. Next working day delivery is free on orders of 2kg or more. For smaller orders, standard UK delivery is £3.95 via Royal Mail 2nd Class, or £2.40 for local eco-friendly delivery to Oxford postcodes OX1–OX4.
Can I collect my subscription from a café instead?
Yes — click & collect is available from any of our Oxford cafés. Allow at least one working day. Orders of 1kg or more come with a free drink in store.
Where do you deliver your coffee subscriptions?
We deliver coffee subscriptions across the UK, with free delivery on orders of £33 or over. If you're in Oxford (postcodes OX1–OX4), you can also choose our eco-friendly local delivery for £2.40, or click & collect from any of our Oxford cafés — orders of 1kg or more come with a free drink in store.
Managing your subscription
How do I manage my subscription?
Log in to your account at any time to swap coffees, change your bag size or grind, update your delivery frequency, or amend your payment details.
Can I change how often my coffee is delivered?
Yes — you can switch between weekly, fortnightly, three-weekly or monthly delivery at any time. Just log in to your account and update your frequency.
Can I skip or pause a delivery?
Yes. We'll email you before each delivery goes out, giving you the chance to skip, pause or fast-forward directly from your account — no need to contact us.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel at any time from your account dashboard. There's no minimum term and no cancellation fee.

Missing Bean Rewards
Do I earn rewards on subscription orders?
Yes — every subscription order earns you Missing Bean Rewards points. You earn 10 points for every £1 spent, which you can redeem for perks including free shipping, vouchers, and exclusive Missing Bean merchandise. You can also earn bonus points by referring friends — share your referral link and you'll both benefit.
How do I join Missing Bean Rewards?

Coffee & sourcing
How fresh will my coffee be?
Very. We roast every weekday, so your beans are likely to carry a roast date within two weeks of your order.
Are your coffees ethically and sustainably sourced?
Yes. We prioritise Direct Trade relationships wherever possible, working directly with producers in Colombia, Kenya, Brazil, Nicaragua, Mexico, Peru and Thailand. Where Direct Trade isn't possible, we use trusted importers with full traceability. In 2024–25, 60% of our coffee came from Direct Trade sources, and we're aiming for 80% by the end of 2026.
Is your packaging recyclable?
Yes — all our bags (250g, 500g and 1kg) are fully recyclable, as are our shipping boxes.
