Brazil - Sitio Posses - Direct Trade

This is our first year of working directly with farmer José, after our good friend, Athos, moved across to help with his farm from our previous connection in Mantissa.

José grew up learning the craft from his father, Paulo Corrêa, and continues the family tradition today.
“All my neighbours are coffee growers, and around here it’s what we do. I learned from my parents and I’m teaching my children the same path… it’s in our blood,” José told us.
He lives at Sítio Posses with his wife Regina and their sons, Paulo and João.

The farm is located in the Poço Fundo region of Sul de Minas, in southern Minas Gerais, an area renowned for producing some of Brazil’s finest coffees.
