Established in 2009, Missing Bean started as a single café in Oxford and has grown into a family of cafés across Oxfordshire, a bakery, and our own specialty coffee roastery in East Oxford. We build lasting relationships with the farmers who grow our coffee, sourcing ethically and sustainably, because the best coffee is grown with care, long before it reaches our roastery.

We are an ethical coffee company, and carefully choose the best coffees from around the world based on unique flavours and sustainability. 

When possible, we visit the farms from where our coffee beans are sourced. You can read more about our coffee sourcing trips, and the history of each farm.
