About the Beans : Ethiopia - Echemo

Echemo is an organic farm owned by Khalid Shifa and is situated in the Jimma region.

Khalid works closely with local farmers to improve coffee quality and sustainability in the area. This coffee is a natural process Arabica with heirloom varieties, grown at high altitude and dried on raised beds to enhance its fruity and aromatic profile.

Khalid’s focus is on environmental impact through organic farming, agroforestry projects, compost training, and sustainable agricultural practices that protect biodiversity and soil health.

He is also supporting the local community through infrastructure improvements, education initiatives, and transparent, traceable coffee production.

Delivery information
