Where do we even begin with lovely Gatineau! They are the epitome of a true Missing Bean Family member. Since we first started roasting coffee back in 2018, they've been there. Our coffee, alongside their truly beautiful patisserie, is a match made in heaven, and a relationship that's stood the tests of time and has aged like a fine wine. We love Gatineau, their team, their food, everything, and so appreciate the opportunity to roast for them each and every week.
The Gatineau coffee offering has always been pure and true, solid and smooth, and a crowd-pleaser yet interesting. Keeping things simple to compliment the variety of baked treats on offer was the key criteria when selecting the single-origin for the team. The El Salvador Ayutepeque is an excellent bean, full of body, works well across a range of drinks, and has tasting notes of honey, chocolate & hazelnut - all present on the Gatineau menu! Our El Salvador is exclusive for wholesale customers only, but you can purchase a bag of these beans directly from Gatineau where it's stocked on their Cafe shelves.
As well as being the coffee of choice in their Summertown Cafe, it can also be found in their new horse-box conveniently located outside their Bakery in Kidlington. Double the pleasure - double the fun!
