The Maggie is the heart of East Oxford, they were here long before all the other businesses popped up to make the 'Magdalen Road Village' what it is today - they set the standard. They've hosted many a Missing Bean Christmas party, many a post-work pint, and have trusted us with their coffee supply since we first began roasting back in 2014. We love everything about them, the food, the drink, the atmosphere - they're an Oxford institution.
The Magdalen Arms Blend - exclusively crafted by our roasters - is an excellent all rounder and meets all the criteria of their regulars! It's a combination of two of Missing Bean's favourite direct-trade farms - the Brazil Sitio Posses and the Peru Chingama. These two coffee's roasted together create deep, rich tasting notes of dark chocolate, walnut, & cinnamon. A solid option as a punchy espresso, and works wonderfully alongside all types of milk - you'll notice it's there, without it being overpowering. It's an excellent kick-start to the morning, or a perfect accompaniment at the end of a hearty home cooked meal.
