Brazil - Café em Flores - Direct Trade

2026 marks our first year working directly with the wonderful women of Café em Flores, and we’re showcasing one of their best!

Family farming and coffee production have long been a tradition with Coopama, and women have always been an essential part of this process.
However, their representation and voice in the sector still needs to be amplified. With this in mind, the Café em Flores women’s group was launched - an initiative aimed at strengthening the role of women in rural production, especially in coffee farming.

With a focus on female members, wives, and daughters of members, the project is a unique opportunity for growth and development, promoting technical and practical knowledge essential for the evolution of coffee production and farm management.

The project is an invitation for women to flourish in the world of coffee farming, bringing their knowledge, dedication, and innovation to transform rural production.

This coffee in particular is the hard work of 13 amazing women.
