Missing Bean recently had the pleasure of co-hosting an unforgettable 'Journey Through The Cotswolds' event alongside Darby & Parrett and a selection of brilliant local businesses, united by a shared passion for quality food and drink.
The day began with a breakfast banquet at Missing Bean's Charlbury Cafe, where guests were treated to an array of coffees, matcha and the full café menu, freshly prepared by the Oxford-based Missing Bean Bakery.
The afternoon took guests behind the scenes at the award-winning Cotswolds Distillery, with an expert-led tour by Rob from The Cotswolds, offering a fascinating look at their whisky production process and a stroll through their newly created Wetlands reserve. The experience concluded in style at the newly launched Hidden Still bar, where cocktails flowed freely, including some imaginative Missing Bean coffee-based creations, accompanied by delightful nibbles.
To round off the journey, guests were welcomed to The Feathered Nest Inn, a 3 AA Rosette restaurant, for a fine dining menu enjoyed out on the terrace as the evening drew in. Beautiful wines accompanied every course, and the night ended on a high with a showstopping tirami-choux crafted with Missing Bean coffee creme patissiere.
The event was a wonderful showcase of the exceptional food and drink on offer in this corner of the Cotswolds, brought together by a shared commitment to quality, creativity, and of course, great coffee.
