Missing Bean Coffee Roasters is marking one year of partnership with Oxford United's United Run Dept. – and the occasion called for something a little special.
To celebrate the milestone, the Missing Bean bakery team created a show-stopping Tiramisu Cake, made with Missing Bean's fresh roasted coffee, large enough to fuel an entire running club after a morning on the road. The cake was shared with runners and staff at the anniversary celebration, bringing together the community that has grown around the monthly run series over the past year.
United Run Dept. launched in December 2024 as Oxford United's first-ever running club, designed to bring supporters and the wider Oxford community together through monthly 5km runs, socialising, and wellbeing. Missing Bean Coffee Roasters was confirmed as Headline Partner from the outset, with runs starting and finishing at Missing Bean cafés across the city.
The partnership has seen Missing Bean become a central part of the run club experience – providing the post-run coffee, refreshments, and community space that keeps runners coming back month after month.
