Both farms have just earned Rainforest Alliance certification this season, off the back of serious investment in higher wages, stronger structures and full quality control. Two very different coffees, cut from the same exceptional cloth.
First up, a returning favourite: Kenya Jane!
Back for another season, and it's every bit as vibrant as we remember. This washed lot comes from one of our longest-standing Direct Trade partnerships, with Jane and the team at Sakami Farm. Over the years, they've continually reinvested in quality, infrastructure and working conditions, alongside achieving that Rainforest Alliance certification. With better infrastructure now in place, the team have been able to experiment with exclusive micro- and nano-lots, refining their coffees with real care and intention.
This year's harvest marks another milestone: Jane's farm has produced its first full, millable harvest — the result of years of patience, care and investment. It's a hugely rewarding moment for Jane, and one we're proud to celebrate alongside her.

This season we're bringing you Sakami Gloria Natural, a naturally processed lot from Gloria's farm that captures everything we love about this year's harvest.
This season is especially significant, too — it's the last harvest before Sakami Farm's brand-new dry mill becomes fully operational. From next year, the coffee will be grown, processed, milled and packed entirely on-site, giving the producers even greater independence and creating opportunities for more local growers to benefit from the same high standards. For Gloria, this isn't just an investment in her own farm, but in the future of coffee production across the region.
